Quality control and Microbiology assistant (m/w) – Full time
Evologic’s production team is in a need of an independent, result-oriented, and motivated individual that feels comfortable working on repetitive tasks at lab and industrial scale and looks for a long-term engagement. The position entails support of daily manufacturing operations for the fermentation and formulation of microbes, with strong focus on quality control analytics and inoculum production (precultures) for manufacturing and, team spirit and a conscientious approach are a must.
Responsibilities:
- Execution, monitoring and support of microbial fermentations and subsequent downstream formulations
- Sample preparation & analyses
- Quality control for
- Product intermediates and end products in production and development
- Batch release
- Microbial cultivations according to standardized protocols
- Inoculation & harvest of pre-culture flasks & fermenters
- Equipment cleaning and sterilization
- Nutrient media preparation
- Analytical method execution for
- Method development and optimization
- Method validation and verification
Requirements:
Technical, chemical, molecular-biological, biotechnological education or similar (Matura/HTL/Bacc.)
- Independent and accurate work, as well as the ability to work in a team
- Basic technical understanding of biotechnology and microbial processes is advantageous
- Very good knowledge of German or English
- Willingness to perform repetitive tasks according to SOPs
